Versions

Release versions of both Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number are listed here, along with descriptions of what each update changed.

Hotline Miami[]

OG - The original version, with optional Steamworks and no Leaderboards.
Updated - Windowed mode option, Leaderboards are added, a bug with the double barrel playing the shotgun sound when used by enemies is fixed, an exploit where knocking over the same alerted enemy multiple times will keep giving 1000 pts is removed.

1.0 - The original release, with several sound sprite and enemy patrol bugs.
1.0.4 - April 28 2015 The first patch, in the form of a replacement patchwad replacing some sprites and files.
- Minor Sprite updates.
- Fixed issues with writer entering berserk mode.
- Fixed a few cases where the wrong song would play depending on if the level was started with or without intro.
- Added proper sounds to the MP5 and M16.
1.04a - April 30 2015 This version is also on the Gamer's Edition disc.
- Fixed exclamation marks missing from dialogues!
1.06 - 16 November 2016 Level Editor added.
1.07 - 16 November 2016
- Fixed Jacket's attack with Taser and Nightstick.
- Fixed several issues preventing the cutscene editor from working properly.
- Fixed a crash while playing some campaigns that had an outro level.
- Fixed an issue where the wrong song would play for some intro levels.
- Fixed high score saving and loading for campaigns.
- Fixed a glitch where sometimes weapons would disappear when playing as The Son.
- Miscellaneous crash fixes.
- Various other minor fixes.
