Seizure is the 21st Scene in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and the first in The Son's storyline. It is set on November 18, 1991.

Scene[]

Intro[]

The Son calls the Henchman and the two have a talk about a plan to attack a strip club owned by the Colombians after being invited by them to a party for VIPs only. The Henchman questions The Son's intentions to start a territorial conflict with the Colombian gang, while The Son dismisses his doubts by stating that time is not on their side and leaves the Russian Mafia HQ.

Gameplay[]

The scene has three stages. One of the stages is a small room with three Thugs and a shotgun on the floor.

Outro[]

The Son ends the night celebrating, surrounded by women and drugs. The Henchman asks for a permission to leave for home, prompting The Son to accurately predict that his girlfriend might not be at his side for too long and send him on his way, telling him to pick the cash at the entrance's desk as a reward for his services.

Trivia[]

  • This level's lighting effect is reminiscent of the Oscar mask from the first game.
  • On the northern floor, there is an enemy trapped in a room with no entrance, but some glass windows. This enemy must be killed with a gun, which originally made the level impossible to beat with the Dirty Hands technique. However, a patch was released that corrected this problem by making it so that this enemy does not spawn if you choose Dirty Hands.
  • The first screen can actually be entered from any of the three screen transitions if the player chooses to walk around the building instead of enter the strip club. The wall opposite the lit stage floors has a clear break in it that can be shot through with Bloodline.
  • The level could have a double meaning, as in the level, you seize the strip club from the Colombians. The other meaning could refer to a seizure caused by epilepsy due to the lights in the club.
  • The fact that there are no VIPs present in the strip club and that the the Colombians start off armed and hostile suggest that the party was actually a death trap laid for the Son anyway.

Bugs[]

  • There is a bug during the outro of the level involving the conversation between The Henchman and The Son. After ending the conversation, taking the elevator down to your vehicle and going back up the elevator will cause the dialogue between the two to repeat, and the money The Son gives you to respawn.

Music[]

  • "Ms. Minnie" by Auto Delta Time plays in the intro at The Son's hideout.
  • "She Swallowed Burning Coals" by El Tigr3 plays in the main level.
