Johnson is a side character that appears in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. Johnson is predominantly featured in most of the outros to Manny Pardo's scenes, investigating the crime scenes that the Miami Mutilator has left behind.
Events of Hotline Miami 2[]
Johnson is a part of the CSI division of the Miami Police Department. From October 1991 onward, Johnson has been investigating the crime scenes of the Miami Mutilator, a murderer who leaves a cryptic note saying he was forced to kill at each crime scene, which he comments is a cliché. He believes the murders to be too mundane for press coverage, but gradually comes around over the course of the game as the details get gorier. However, during the course of these events, he is oblivious to who the murderer actually is, and that he is in fact the detective who helps him investigate the crime scenes.
