Plot[]
Chapter One
The story begins in June 6th, 1989 on Miami, with a Russian mobster fleeing from a white house in panick. As the mobster reachs out for a boat parked on a dock out of the house, he tries to detach the ropes but ends being shot in the head. The killer was a tall man wearing a white rabbit mask holding a pistol. He re-enters the house and many mobsters can be seen lying on the floor, with only one of them breathing. The masked man puts the mobster out of his misery and proceeds to search the house on the lookout for any russians left alive. After he's done searching, the man puts his pistol at a table, pulls up his mask a little and starts smoking, but much to his surprise, a boy comes up from behind and pulls a gun up to his head saying "Don't move... you piece of shit!"
The chapter than goes back to March 1st, 1989, where two young man are playing air hockey at an arcade. One of them celebrates his victory and states how he loves air hockey, while the other one says that he just likes air hockey because he only keeps winning. The winner denies it, and starts explaining his love for games. In the middle of the conversation, it is revealed that his name is Blake. Blake challenges his friend to another match, which he accepts but says that he'll grab a cup of beer first, but then someone gives him a call. "Damn, they just won't give up". After saying that, Blake's friend, whose name is Chris, starts talking with a unknown caller, and is asked about a donation. After refreshing Chris' memory about said donation, the caller ask if he would like to help the cause in a more "practical and meaningful way". Chris agrees with that, confused about the entire situation, and the caller express approval before hanging up. Chris angrily shouts at the phone and Blake ask who was the caller. Chris says that it was just a weirdo and he explains that he was donating money to a patriotic organization, and that he thinks it's better donating money to them than leaving it in the bank for the Russians to take. Blake rolls his eyes when Chris start mentioning the Russians, suggesting that he talks often about them. Chris says how much of a threat they are, but Blake tells him that's he's being a little dramatic, to which he responds saying that he should tell it to his family. The room becomes quiet for a while, until they both decide to have another game of air hockey.
Four days later on March 5th Chris is on his bed sniffing coke and asks a girl if she's coming or not, and the girl ask what's the hurry. She then sees the coke and starts sniffing it after Chris' finished. Soon after Chris begins hallucinating that the whole world is fading, but just before the hallucination gets stronger the girl wakes him up saying that there's someone at the door. Frightened, Chris tells the girl to figure outwhat to do with the coke and goes to answer the door. To his relief, it was just a courier with a package. The courier asks if he is Chris Jenkins, to which he confirm but remarks that he wasn't expecting anything. The courier says that there's nothing to worry about, that everything has already been paid and that the only thing Chris has to do is sign. After signing up the papers, Chris goes back to the house and opens the box, which contains guns, ammo and a white rabbit mask. After a moment of shock, he's staring silently at the rabbit mask until he hears the girl's voice. He quickly puts the mask back on the box, close it up and start saying that it was no one, and when asked by the girl how could it be no one he says it was just a courier bringing the package. The girl tries to see what's in the package and Chris stops her by holding her arm tight and saying that it's nothing. The girl says that she's curious but Chris says that he doesn't care about that and that should learn to keep her hands off his stuff. Upset, the girl then says that he shouldn't worry about that, because she'll never touch her stuff again and leaves, despite Chris asking if she was really going to disappear like this. After that Chris slams the door and screams "FUCK!".
Three days later on March 8th, Chris was cleaning his couch after he drops some tomato sauce on it and receives a phone call. He gets a call from "Mike the Plumber" saying that he need him to repair a burst pipe, remembering that Chris said he wanted to work. Chris doesn't understand what's going on, but the callers continues saying that the owners asked if they could do it tomorrow nigh, past 9 PM. Chris shouts demanding "Mike" to listen, but "Mike" says that he's the one that should be listening. He says Chris to just bring the tools and uniform he gave him at 22 NW 60th Avenue and says that he can save the questions, as he'll get answers tomorrow. Thinking it was the courier, "Mike" says the address one more time and hangs up. Chris writes down it and goes back to his couch and grabs a slice of pizza, but then decides to hit the streets after noticing that he isn't even hungry anymore. He goes to a disco pub called The Pit and heads to the counter where the bartender, Wilson, greets him. He asks how Wilson's doing and Wilson says he's fine, but that Chris doesn't look good, like if a Russian had fucked his girlfriend. Chris tells him it's nothing like that, that there is some shit going on. Wilson then asks if he want to talk about it, Chris says that he doesn't, so Wilson just "skips to the solution" and gives his a shot of whiskey. After many drinks and cigars, the pub's closing up and the DJ, Chris' friend Vinnie, ask if Chris has been waiting for him, but he says that he was just drinking. Vinnie says that he can see that and that he's hungry, so he asks Chris if he wants to go with him at the dinner, but he rejects the offer saying that he can come to his house and eat there, which Vinnie agrees on doing. While they were walking home Vinny starts asking what's going on with Chris, saying that he looks pissed off even for his standarts. Chris says that there are some guys freaking him off, which worries Vinnie, thinking it might be drug related matters. Chris says that he just have to give them back some shit and make it clear that he want nothing to do with them. Vinnie says it really sounds like it's drug related, but Chris says that he shoudn't have brought it up and ask if they can forget it and enter his house. Vinnie agrees and starts heating up a pizza while Chris turn up the tv. When the pizza's ready Chris is already sleeping, so Vinnie ends up watching the movie by himself.
The next day, March 9th, Chris is nervous as time goes by and it's almost 9 PM. He prepares himself during the course of the day and leaves 8:27 PM, but just as he was opening his door he turns back, sniffs some coke and then leaves. After arriving at the address "Mike" gave him, Chris looks at his mask and comments that this situation is ridiculous. He gets out of the car carrying a bag with the "tools" he was said to bring, rings the bell of what looks like a regular house and it's greeted by a Russian mobster holding a pistol, who calls two pals saying it's pay day.
Chapter Two
March 9th. The chapter picks up just where the first one left, with Chris running from three Russian mobsters. After running for a while, he hides and grabs a submachine gun out of his bag and manages to kill one of the mobsters but almost gets shot while jumping a wire fence. One of the Russians tries to follow him but gets shot by Chris while climbing the fence. He quickly realises that the third Russian turned 'round the house, who started firing against him. One of the shots grazed Chris' arm, making him drop his bag on the floor just before getting cover, but he still managed to recover the bag and kill the Russian nonetheless. He then goes back to his car, takes off his mask and drives back home with a smile on his face.
