The Glass Bottle is a weapon available in Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. In Hotline Miami the glass bottle is an unlockable throwing weapon, It cannot kill enemies by being thrown, but it does have a unique execution animation. The glass bottle is a one-time use weapon—it will break both upon missing an enemy and after being used in an execution.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number[]
In Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, the glass bottle is a weapon that only appears on Hard News and is exclusive to Jake, it will break after hitting something with it. When unbroken the glass bottle will only knock over enemies but when it is broken it will kill them instead. Like the Hotline Miami version it can still execute enemies.
Execution[]
The execution animation for the glass bottle starts with Jacket on top of the mobster with the bottle, he then breaks it and jabs him twice. In Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Jake will use the broken bottle to slit his unfortunate victim's throat. If the bottle is unbroken when Jake executes an enemy with it, Jake will break the bottle on the floor before stabbing the victim in the throat.
