The Drill is a melee weapon in Hotline Miami and the Level Editor. It can only be legitimately obtained by wearing the Carl Mask. It has a unique Execution animation where Jacket drills a hole in the enemy's head. However, that is the only way to kill an enemy with the drill, as hitting enemies just knocks them to the ground, similar to using fists.
The drill is a fairly weak weapon, having a slightly shorter range than most melee weapons with no compensation in speed as with the knife. And, as previously mentioned, requiring the player to execute every enemy they attack with it. Since the drill has the same properties as the fists do except for the execution, you can still perform the standing execution, though you will drop the drill in the process. Also due to its similar properties to fists, it will also give you a big score in the boldness, and combined with the large amount of executions that can be performed, can give you an A+ if used efficiently. Dogs are unaffected by the drill.
